How refurbishment works at ByteBack

Transparency is built into every step. Here's how we turn enterprise-grade lease-return laptops into devices ready for their next 3–4 years of work.

    Inspection

    Devices are sourced from enterprise lease returns and inspected for cosmetic and functional condition on arrival.

  2. 02

    Testing

    Each laptop goes through component-level testing — CPU, RAM, SSD, display, battery, keyboard, ports, Wi-Fi and webcam.

  3. 03

    Data Wipe

    Storage is securely sanitized using certified methods to ensure zero data remnants from the previous owner.

  4. 04

    Refurbishment

    Worn parts are replaced, the body is cleaned, keys and screens are restored — and any required upgrades performed.

  5. 05

    Quality Check

    A final 52-point QC pass before sealing — the laptop must perform like new for it to ship under the ByteBack label.

  6. 06

    Delivery

    Securely packed and shipped PAN India in protective packaging with GST invoice, warranty card and accessories.
